Chinese Broccoli Beef

To make enough for 4~6 people.

Ingredients:

[1] beef flank(20 oz, cut into thin slice about 2 inches by 1 inch and ~2mm thick)
[2] garlic (10 cloves, minced)
[3] soy sauce(4 tbl spoons)
[4] cornstarch(1.5 tea spoon)
[5] cooking wine (1/4 cup)
[6] a pot of water (1/2 gallon)
[7] Chinese Broccoli[Gai-Laan]  (1.5 lbs, better with big stems, cut into pieces about 2.5 inches)
[8] canola oil (4 tablespoons)
[9] tomato (3 medium size, cut into 1 cubic inch cubes)
[10] canola oil (2 tablespoons)
[11] oyster sauce (2 tea spoons)
[12] cornstarch(1.5 tea spoon)
[13] black pepper (1/3 tea spoon)
[14] water (1/2 cup)

Directions:

[a] to marinate, place [1]+[2]+[3]+[4]+[5] in a bowl, mixed evenly. for 2 hours or overnight. ==>[15]
[b] high heat, bring [6] to boil, +[7] and cook for 4 minutes or until the stem becomes tender.  dump out water ==> [16]
[c] place [11]+[12]+[13]+[14] in a bowl, stir and mix evenly ==> [17]
[d] high heat, put [8] in a stir fry pan, +[15], stir for about 3 minutes ==>[18]
[e] medium heat, put [10] in a stir fry pan, +[9], stir until the tomato becomes soft and juicy
[f] +[16]+[18], stir for 30 seconds
[g] +[17], stir until all ingredients are evenly mixed and the juice starts to bobble
[h] good eat lah ...
