tomato beef

Ingredients ...

[1] flank beef, 1 pound (about 4oz per person), cut into thin slices


[2] sesame oil -- 3 table spoons
[3] soy sauce -- 8 table spoons
[4] cooking wine -- 5 table spoons
[5] garlic -- 10 cloves, minced
[6] corn starch -- 1 tea spoon
[7] scallion -- 3, cut into pieces of 2 inches
[8] sugar -- 2 tea spoons
[9] cooking oil -- 8 table spoons
[10] black pepper
[11] corn starch -- 1.2 tea spoons
[12] oyster sauce -- 1.5 tea spoons
[13] tomato, 4 (size of a fist) -- cut into fine pieces
[14] water, 1/4 cup

Directions ...

[a] [1]+[2]+[3]+[4]+[5]+[6], mix evenly --> [A1]
     you can marinate for a day, but at least a couple of hours
[b] in a small bowl, +[10]+[11]+[12]+[14], mix evenly -->[B1]

[c] heat the fry pan, +[9]+[7], when hot, + [A1], stir till the meat
     just finishes changing color, take out the meat -->[C1]

[d] +[9], when hot, +[13], stir/cook till the tomato become pasty.
     +[C1], mix evenly

[e] +[B1], bring to boil, +[8], mix evenly
[f]  done.  to serve, just put on top of the cooked rice


Notes ...

-- the amount is good for 4 people
-- do not add water, other than mentioned. all the juice is from
    the tomato
